OUR MENUS
Ty Hyll (The Ugly House Tea Room) has long been known for its traditional afternoon teas, served with our infamous ‘secret recipe’ scones and a selection of our award-winning homemade cakes.
Our ever popular Traditional Bara Brith, ‘speckled bread’, has received commendation from the True Taste of Wales and is served in the tearooms and also available as a small loaf to take away.
We aim, wherever possible, to source our ingredients locally. These include local cheeses, Welsh mature black beef, locally produced fruit, vegetables and herbs and locally baked bread.
All our meats are home roasted. All our scones, cakes, biscuits and soups are homemade. They contain no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives or additives… if you order lemon cake, it will be made from fresh lemons! Whether you are looking for a light snack, morning coffee, a satisfying lunch or an indulgent cream tea, you will find something on our menu to tempt you.
Children and young families are welcome (high chairs are available) and have their own section on our menu.
